Laurel & Gavin

A beautiful contemporary wedding at Sorrento in the Park, Auckland.

Laurel & Gavin are the kind of couple that balance each other out. Laurel bring order to Gav’s chaos. Gav calms Laurel’s busy brain. Laurel’s from the US and Gavin hails from Scotland. Both have made New Zealand home… at least until their next adventure. Together they enjoy good music, Star Wars and a good drink. Laurel has shot with Blackroom for three years, so capturing her wedding was extra special to me. Many of the wedding details were contributed by loved ones; and a lot of late nights painting and planning by Laurel. The wedding was full of nerdy nods, and made all the more special with friends and family from all over the world there to celebrate with them.

Oh how I miss pre-COVID weddings like these.
